about us

St. Thomas Episcopal Church is both a worshiping community and a village church that is a hospitable haven providing comfort, peace, succor and spiritual inspiration to all. We call all members into deeper levels of communion with Christ and each other and inspire them to go forth to seek and serve Christ in the world.

Various community groups such as the Wood River Jewish Community, Montessori Moms, and Alcoholics Anonymous hold their meetings at the church. We also sponsor spiritual programs and classes that reflect the religious diversity of our community.

We feel very comfortable welcoming new people as most of us have moved to Sun Valley from elsewhere. Many of our members are seasonal. It is our hope that you will feel comfortable at St. Thomas and that we can help make it easier for you to connect with others.
